Archbishop of Canterbury lauds Museveni for hosting refugees

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has met the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.

Archbishop Justin Welby paid a courtesy call on the President at State House, Entebbe.

He was accompanied by Archbishop Stanley Ntagali.

President Museveni and his guest discussed a wide range of issues, including the situation is South Sudan.

The Archbishop was briefed on the regional efforts to restore peace in South Sudan and support the refugees.

Archbishop Welby, who has visited refugee camps in West Nile, thanked Uganda for hosting the refugees.
