CAF Champions League: Ugandan Referees Appointed for Officiation

Apart from having two football clubs (KCCA FC and Proline FC) featuring in the upcoming matches of Africa’s top most club tournaments – the CAF Champions league and CAF Confederations Cup respectively, Uganda is as well going to be represented by a number referees appointed to officiate the upcoming CAF engagements.

Chelanget Ali Sabila has been appointed as the centre referee in the game between KMKM SC of Zanzibar and Club Desportivo 1 de Agosto of Angola on August 10 at Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar. He will be assisted by Mark Ssonko and Isa Masembe as assistant referee. Mashood Ssali will be the fourth official.

In another CAF Champions league game between Fomboni Football Club de Moheli of Comoros and COTE D’OR FC of Seychelles at Stade de Moroni on August 11, William Oloya will be the centre referee with Ronald Katenya and Dick Okello as assistant referees. Mashood Ssali will be the fourth official.

Nsubuga Miiro will be the centre referee on August 11 in Juba when Atlabara FC of South Sudan hosts Al Ahly Sporting Club of Egypt. Lee Okello and Balikoowa Musa Ngobi will be the assistant referees with Alex Muhabi as the fourth official.
