She’s a former student of Communications at Makerere (Both Masters and Bachelors) and she has over 8 year experience in the field of development communication.
Megan as she is commonly known always wanted a career in public relations when she was still in high school and she has never regretted.
“Mass Communication was my career of preference from when I was in S.4. I worked hard towards this dream and here I am,” she says.
Asked why she preferred this as her profession, Megan attributed it to the fact that she loves interacting with people, telling stories in many ways to impact on other people’s lives positively and generally loves socializing.
Her skill set include; writing, persuasion, networking, public speaking, photography and design.
She adds that mass communication as a field is broad and you need to look for your strength within the various elements.
“My strength is people, I relate well with others and I’m naturally empathetic so it gives me an edge in story telling. What I love most about my current work is that it is very engaging and I work with such an amazing diplomatic team. I feel honored”.
