PRAU Set to Commemorate Women’s Month

The Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU), an umbrella public relations body of Uganda is Thursday evening scheduled to commemorate the Women’s month with an interactive engagement dubbed ‘PRAU Diva Talk’ at IREC Bugolobi.

This year’s women’s day celebrations who theme is “Balance For Better.”

Ann Muhangi Kyoshabire, a life Coach and CEO of Wholesome Consult is expected to preside over the event where member PR officers of different organisations and PRAU executive members are expected to attend.

Muhangi stirs lives to their desired destinies through life planning, personal branding, building financial capabilities and impacting life skills.

According to the association’s President, Sarah Kagingo, the event is intended to start a conversation for a complimentary role of men and women towards excellence.

“Our plan in putting together this activity was to use this day to trigger conversation that drives inspiration, both for men and women. We believe that we all need to push each other and inspire each other along this path towards professional excellence,” Kagingo said.

PRAU is affiliated with other regional and global public relations bodies such as the Eastern African Public Relations Association, the Federation of Africa Public Relations Associations (FAPRA) and the International Public Relations Association.

The association was founded in 1976 as an umbrella organization of all public relations practitioners and professionals in public and private institutions in Uganda.
