Uganda has registered 7 new cases of Covid-19, the Ministry of Health confirms.
In a statement by Dr. Henry Mwebesa, the Director General Health Services, the new cases were confirmed from 2,532 samples on Thursday June 11.
Four of the confirmed cases are alerts and contacts identified from the districts of Tororo (2), Kyotera (1) and Gulu (1).
Three of the cases are truck drivers analysed from 1310 samples at different border points.
Of these, two entered the country from Kenya through Malaba while one is from Mutukula border entry.
Uganda has so far registered 161 recoveries and no covid-19 related deaths.
