President Yoweri Museveni on Friday evening excited music lovers who attended Golden Production singer, Catherine Kusasira’s concert.
Kusasira held her ‘Tears of a woman’ concert at Kampala Serena Conference Center.
The President was the guest of honor at the event and caused excitement when he walked up to the stage and handed Catherine Kusasira an envelope presumed to have contained Uganda Shillings.
The President then danced his way back to his seat. However, his dance moves bordered on a military march -past, a matter that excited revellers at the concert.
Kusasira, like Bebe Cool, is an ardent supporter of the President and the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party.
That perhaps explains why Museveni who rarely attends music shows made an exception this time. The last time he attended a music concert was when Bebe Cool staged a charity themed event at Kololo independence grounds.
Last night ( at Catherine Kusasira's show) was the third time I have been to a music concert and I was thrilled to see Ugandans enjoying themselves in a peaceful environment. pic.twitter.com/MarWVt19Gf
