Socialite Zarinah Hassan has today penned a note in a memory of her late husband, Ivan Ssemwanga saying he was the greatest of all.
Ivan Ssemwanga died three years ago on 25 May 2017 at Steve Biko Hospital in Pretoria, after he suffered a stroke which left him paralyzed with a blood clot on his brain.
In the note, Zari said Ivan is still the greatest of all even aftee three years of his passing.
“You still the G.O.A.T even after three years of your passing, the game has never been the same since you left, Decembers are no longer the same, obubalaza here in South Africa aint the same, pop bottle games not the same,” Zari posted on her Instagram
The socialite also said Ivan’s shoes are big to fill saying no one can match his giving heart. She referred to Ivan as the ‘UN office for all.”
“Your giving heart was never matched, you were the ‘UN office for all’. Everyone else is just clowning or chasing clout, your shoes are too big to fit/fill, continue resting in peace Champ. 3 years already but it seems like yesterday, we love you and miss you always #TheDon,” Zari wrote.
Ivan and Zari got engaged in a traditional marriage and together they had three boys. The couple later called it quits after Zari accused Ivan of infidelity and domestic violence.
Zari got involved in a relationship with Tanzanian musician, Diamond Platnumz in 2014 and separated from him in 2018 on Valentine’s day.
Ivan was famously for his generosity in Uganda and South Africa. He died shortly after offering help to disadvantaged children in Nsambya Kampala.
